Voted Top 30 best places you can play in South Carolina by the South Carolina Golf Course Ratings Panel in 2009 and 2011. Founders Club was also voted, Myrtle Beach Course of the Year in 2011 by the Myrtle Beach Golf Course Owners Association. Designed by Thomas Walker, former lead designer for Gary Player Design, Walker transformed the former Sea Gull Golf Club into a magnificent Lowcountry layout.

The course features 18 masterfully designed holes that are visually stunning, giving the illusion that the course is harder than it actually plays. With five sets of tees to play from, players of all skill levels can enjoy the course. Walker’s team took advantage of the natural gold and orange sands to serve as transition areas and moved over 250,000 cubic yards of dirt to create elevation change, mounding and sloping fairways. The greens are Emerald Bermuda and the fairways and rough are 419 Bermuda.
