About Jekyll Island Club Resort

Jekyll Island Club Resort an island resort just off the coast of Georgia. With 130+ years of hospitality, attention to detail, and grand hotel tradition. Every step is a walk through history. Jekyll Island served as the gathering place for industry titans such as the Vanderbilts, Morgans, Pulitzers, and Rockefellers. The location of Georgia’s first brewery, the original birthplace of the United States Federal Reserve, and one of five locations to receive the first transcontinental telephone call.

More about Jekyll Island Golf

Jekyll Island has a tradition of inspiring some of golf’s greatest stories and living up to expectations. In 1898, members of the Jekyll Island Club created the island’s first golf course. Their island has been a heralded golf destination ever since, attracting such acclaimed designers as Donald Ross, Walter Travis and Joe Lee – as well as players from around the world.

Each course is a masterpiece. Golfers experience playing through some of Jekyll Island’s most pristine lakes, marshes and forests. There are very few man-made obstructions out there. But golfers will have to navigate the island’s alligators, osprey and deer.
Sixty-three holes. Four breathtaking courses. Georgia’s largest public golf resort – known for true Southern hospitality and legendary landscapes.

Great Dunes Course
This historic 9-hole course alternates in difficulty and simplicity, creating a stimulating round on the links.

Indian Mound Course
Surrounded by nature, this course is the shortest of Jekyll’s 18-hole courses, but offers plenty of challenges.

Oleander Course
The most distinct of the three 18-hole courses, it is tightly designed, with ocean breezes and short grasses.

Pine Lakes Course
One of the only courses in the nation that provides even playing ground for both adults and younger players.
